Candle Care
A little care goes a long way in helping you get the most from your candle. Follow these simple tips for a beautiful, clean and even burn.
The First Burn
The first burn is an important one. Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the vessel before extinguishing your candle. This helps prevent tunnelling and encourages an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
Trim Your Wick
Before each burn, trim your wick to approximately 6 mm (¼ inch). Keeping your wick trimmed helps your candle burn cleanly and evenly.
Burn for 3–4 Hours
For the best performance, avoid burning your candle for longer than 3–4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.
Burn Safely
Never leave a burning candle unattended and always extinguish your candle before leaving the room or going to sleep.
Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets, and always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable objects and anything that may come into contact with the flame.
Know When to Say Goodbye
Discontinue use when approximately 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Burning your candle beyond this point can cause the vessel to become excessively hot.
From my home to yours, burn beautifully & safely.
